Terms and Conditions
- Voting is open to all UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) 16 years of age and over, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and PepsiCo UK, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the campaign.
- There are 12 x “ Transform Your Patch” regions – Scotland, North West England (includes Isle of Man), North East England, Yorkshire & Humberside, Wales, West Midlands, East Midlands, Eastern England, London, South East England, South West England (includes Isle of Wight and Channel Islands) and Northern Ireland. The campaign is based on the listed regions and not all communities within a region will have a patch pre-selected for voting.
- Internet access required to enter. To vote for a project go to www.transformyourpatch.com, click on the ‘vote’ button for the patch you would like to receive additional funding, and then submit your name and email address. You will then be asked to verify your email address by clicking on a link in an email sent by Transform Your Patch. Alternatively, you can click on ‘Facebook’.
- There are 4 x pre-selected projects in each region that can be voted for in the campaign.
- The project that receives the most votes will receive an additional £13,000- £20,000 from the Promoter towards transformation of the site.
- Voting closing date is midnight 31.10.2012.
- You can vote for 1 x project in each region every day for the duration of the campaign period. After this limit is reached, your vote will not be counted. All votes must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed and all such votes will be disqualified. Votes deemed to be gathered not in the spirit of the promotion or as a result of vote rigging or vote farming will not be counted.
- No purchase necessary to vote.
- Responsibility is not accepted for votes lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered due to technical, delivery or other reasons.
- The winning projects will be made available on www.transformyourpatch.com or by request in writing to TRANSFORM YOUR PATCH – WINNING SITES LIST, Arnold KLP, 109 Wardour Street, W1F 0UH, within 12 weeks of the closing date, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope.
- By voting in this campaign, all entrants are deemed to have accepted to be bound by these terms.
- The cash award stated is for the transformation of the project, as stated. The Promoter and its agents will work with the winning project to ensure the cash award is spent on the project as discussed with the winning site.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as the landowner and/or council refusing consent to the transformation or removing the site from the Campaign or, fraudulent voting as per clause 7) the Promoter, its agents and participating projects, reserve the right to discuss the cash award and the transformation of the site with the winning site and make alternative arrangements if necessary. This includes selecting the project with 2nd highest number of votes in each region, or if necessary the 3rd highest.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances and where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to change or, remove a project from the campaign and replace with a new project.
- Owing to circumstances outside its reasonable control, and where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right at any time to amend these terms and conditions. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to provide reasonable notice to all entrants. Any such amendment shall be effective once the revised terms have been posted on the site and it shall be your responsibility to check these Terms for any such amendments.
- Any personal data collected via the entrants voting will only be used for the administration of this campaign and personal details will be processed in accordance with Britvic’s Privacy Policy which can be found at www.transformyourpatch.com/article/privacy
- The winning projects agree to take part in any reasonable publicity of the Promoter, with no further recompense.
- Project images may be representational only.

ADDITIONAL FUNDING NOW AVAILABLE FOR NORTHERN IRELAND
- There are now 12 x ‘Transform Your Patch’ regions, with the inclusion of Northern Ireland
- There are 4 x pre-selected projects in Northern Ireland that can be voted for in the campaign
- The project that receives the most votes will receive an additional £5,000 from the Promoter towards the transformation of the site
- All other terms and conditions as noted in the terms and conditions for voting will remain the same and applicable to the Northern Island region
ADDITIONAL £100,000 CASH AWARD FROM CELEBRITY AMBASSODORS SUPPORTED PROJECTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In addition to the voting for an individual project to receive additional cash as per the Terms and Conditions of Voting stated above, there is also an additional cash award of £100,000 available to the type of project, supported by a Celebrity Ambassador, which receives the most votes via the voting.
Types of Project and the Celebrity Ambassador
- Parks: supported by Emma Willis
- Skate Parks: supported by Fazer
- 5 a side football pitches: supported by Robbie Savage
- Playgrounds : supported by Denise van Outen
To vote for the type of project supported by a celebrity Ambassador is the same as voting for a project. Internet access required to enter. Go to www.transformyourpatch.com, click on the 'vote' button for the project you would like to receive additional £100,000 funding, and then submit your name and email address. You will then be asked to verify your email address by clicking on a link in an email sent by Transform Your Patch. Alternatively, you can click on 'Facebook'. All votes will be allocated to Celebrity Ambassador who supports the Project type you voted for. The Celebrity Ambassador who receives the most votes for their supported type of project will win the additional £100,000 to be allocated to the type of project they support. The £100,000 will be given to all projects of the winning type across all 11 regions. Voting completed between midnight 01.01.12 and midnight 14.09.12 will be eligible and counted in the towards the vote for the additional £100,000 cash award for Celebrity Ambassadors Supported Projects. All other terms and conditions as noted in the terms and conditions for voting will remain the same and applicable to the additional £100,000 cash award from celebrity ambassadors supported projects.
THE PEOPLE'S PATCH
- Applications are open to all eligible groups in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and PepsiCo UK, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the campaign.
- There will be 4 grants of £2,000 but not necessarily one per country or project type.
- The application closing date is 12 noon Tuesday 25 September 2012.
- You must send your application by email to PeoplesPatch@groundwork.org.uk
- Responsibility is not accepted for applications lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered due to technical, delivery or other reasons.
- The promoter and its agents reserve the right to reject applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria .
- The winning projects will be made available on www.transformyourpatch.com or by request in writing to TRANSFORM YOUR PATCH – WINNING SITES LIST, Arnold KLP, 109 Wardour Street, W1F 0UH, within 12 weeks of the closing date, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope.
- By sending a completed application, all groups are deemed to have accepted to be bound by these terms.
- The grant stated is for the transformation of the project, as stated in the grant agreement. The Promoter and its agents will work with the winning projects to ensure the cash award is spent on the project as discussed with the winning site.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as the landowner and/or Statutory Authorities refusing consent to the transformation or the project not being able to be delivered) the Promoter and its agents, reserve the right to discuss the cash award and the transformation of the site with the winning site and make alternative arrangements if necessary. This includes selecting a reserve project that was originally unsuccessful.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances and where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw any application from the process.
- Owing to circumstances outside its reasonable control, and where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right at any time to amend these terms and conditions. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to provide reasonable notice to all applicants. Any such amendment shall be effective once the revised terms have been posted on the site and it shall be your responsibility to check these Terms for any such amendments.

- The winning projects agree to take part in any reasonable publicity of the Promoter, with no further recompense.
- The winning projects agree to provide progress reports, updates, photographs of the project site when requested by the Promoter or its agents.
